On behalf of myself and @cheeky~k8 - Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to you all!

We hope to see you in 2023, as we move forward with P&A! Online.

The reincarnation of Poetry & Art! Online site was short-lived back in 2015. Unfortunately, a mixture of personal health issues and costs of maintaining the site became difficult.

I personally didn't lose interest and I do believe there's room for a site like P&A! Online to help encourage the creative side of individuals. Whilst social media is great, it can be a less productive place to share your muse, and ultimately we're designed from the ground up to not only offer honest feedback but also provide a supportive place to mould our talents and grow further.

Why join? Or come back?

Admittedly, there's little to encourage old members to return, and this is even discouraging to new members.

Those that remember the site's beginning will hopefully remember the spirit which united us and, even saw the site grow to 1,000 members. Back in the earlier days of the internet with a flourishing support network forming. I believe with patience, support and care that a community like ours can grow as a place to help each other.

I fully own the mistakes I made before, yet I hope we can encourage old and new members to join in.

This time round, P&A! Online won't be going anywhere.

Quantum in Solace

 
 
When I am older,

will I have solace?

Will I see greatness,

happen before I die?

Or will my eyes,

still see hurt,

And tire of my unwinding heart?


Will my mind know,

equanimity?

When I am old?

Through time heals no pain.

It only creates holes,

in my mind,

Where the echoes of retention leave my soul.


And the sound of music,

reminds me of innocence.


And the sound of voices,

Remind me I am loved.

Not only am I drawn to skylines, red skies or water. I\'m a sucker for builders, especially colorful constructions or items.

Which of the three do you prefer?

There was a period whereby I frequently created things out of dough, it\'s actually a fun process - Not just making the dough itself but designing, moulding and painting them.

I tend to coat them twice, once before painting and again after.

\"I Am\"

I dread the moment where I forget,
all the days that passed me behind.
And how I try to stumble,
through cohesion, I try.
Darkened mist blackens my mind,

I close eyes shut & long for you,
It's too hard to dwell, I adjure.

So, the football club I support has many international groups. With me running a fan site, I offered support to the groups so that they had some unique material - I started by offering cover pictures but I have done a number of other things to help them establish their presence.

Obviously I tried to keep to a certain theme, though I am pleased with outcome with each.

Which picture is your favourite and why? General thoughts?

After learning of a recent passing within my family, I found my head filled with thoughts and generally, when this happens - I find it much easier to let my feelings out.Moments in TimeWe live within moments,
as time passes us by.
And memories,
are formed.Our lives,
often seem carefree.When we live,
within bubbles.
And on occasions,
these burst.
 
Until a moment like these,
everything changes within.
And the traits that makes us,
who we are.
Is the one thing,
that is missed,
when we are gone.

I wrote this the other night, I would like feedback on what folks would do to improve it. The main thing for me is that I have written something, yet I do what to take this seriously - so if you could spare some time and leave an in-depth reply on what you would do to improve this, I would appreciate it.

Bureaucracy, Power & Greed 

I sit alone,
 within a room,
Where bureaucracy rules.
And greed,
Is eager and eager,
Equals fools,
I speak,
So slowly,
Yet my words fall,
To the floor,
I try to speak,
But I am heard,
No more,
Decisions have been made,
Ones which limit,
My ability,
Lies are being told,
Which could ruin,
My reputation,
Yet,
All this greed,
Equals power,
And that power,
Equals the,
Oppressor's.

I\'m a huge zombie fan, something which /profile/2-cheeky~k8/\" data-ipshover=\"\" data-ipshover-target=\"http://poetryartonline.com/profile/2-cheeky~k8/?do=hovercard\" data-mentionid=\"2\">@cheeky~k8 will confirm.

I like the television show \'The Walking Dead\' and without bragging, I have a copy of the comic (rare and unique because it\'s signed by Robert Kirkman. I loved the comics, so when I heard that a television show would be made - I was over the moon.

Equally I am with the arrival of \'Fear of the Walking Dead\'.

Does anyone watch either of the shows?

I have to say I find FOTWD to be more gripping, mainly as it\'s new and the story includes twists which nobody would have thought of in the original series. I find the junky lad to be very annoying, just his appearance, speak and attitude makes me want to punch my laptop\'s screen (I don\'t, don\'t worry). Yet, I really think it\'s a great addition to the Walking Dead.

Thoughts?

This poem was written back in 2005, at the time I was eighteen. Inspired by real life, love and passion that /profile/2-cheeky~k8/\" data-ipshover=\"\" data-ipshover-target=\"http://poetryartonline.com/profile/2-cheeky~k8/?do=hovercard\" data-mentionid=\"2\">@cheeky~k8 has for butterflies.

Surrounded by trees,
Water and her.
I see a deeper paradise,
That only the butterfly can.

Freedom in movement,
She follows you around.
It\'s amazing to see,
How you stop,
When she holds out her hand.

Softly, you settle down,
Fluttering your shiny,
Blue wings.
I picture this moment,
Hoping I\'ll recall it forever.
She looked so happy,
So peaceful.

Then it ended,
So quick.
The butterfly flew,
As she looked on.

It felt like time had stopped,
When she set out.
To chase the,
Blue butterfly.

Some will know, one of the sites I own and run is related to the football team I support. The site is a hub within my local community and one thing which is popular, is computer graphics. I\'m not a professional, self taught but I am content with my skills.

Now let\'s have some virtual cake! 

I am keen to put together a pdf/ebook of horror stories in time for Halloween.

Now, this is a floating idea and I am wondering if anyone would be up for project managing this alongside me? Reason I am asking for help, is I need it (help) and for someone to iron out the finer details, whilst coordinating the project so it runs as smoothly as possible.

This project could showcase the fun and togetherness we have within our community.

So who\'s in? We need writers and people to draw art for it.

Nice and easy discussion, What was the last movie you saw at the cinema? Do you go often?

The cinemas are quite expensive here, It\'s over £10 per adult averagely, which is quite expensive for a family of five and that isn\'t even for 3D movies or any of those special effects. There is an independent cinema which offers cheaper rates, yet for a family the selection is very hit and miss - they mostly have the features which bring the bigger crowds in and this isn\'t commonly animated movies.

That said, the last movie I went to watch was with /profile/7-jake/\" data-ipshover=\"\" data-ipshover-target=\"http://poetryartonline.com/profile/7-jake/?do=hovercard\" data-mentionid=\"7\">@Jake and we went to see \'The Maze Runner\'.

We really enjoyed it, I felt it was a great film but I only go on rare occasions.
