These are very cool mate, your a good photographer and I am pleased you have finally shared some.

The 6th picture looks to me like a fighting stance, did you ask his/her permission to take that photo?  I\'m looking forward to future submissions, along with the possibility of seeing your input to others work.

Great job mate! Thanks for sharing and keep \'em coming!!

Poetry / The Butterfly

[quote author=cheeky~k8\" data-ipsquote-contenttype=\"forums\" data-ipsquote-contentclass=\"forums_Topic\" data-ipsquote-contentid=\"66\" data-ipsquote-contentcommentid=\"399\">Its a nice poem. It makes me think back to going around the butterfly area of the seal sanctuary in Skegness, there wasn\'t many blue butterflies there when we went years ago. Lovely poem.
You don\'t recall the time the Butterfly landed on your hand when you held it out in my parents back garden?

That Butterfly seemed very peaceful, especially as it\'s rare to see them glide so gracefully and remain settled for more than a few seconds. I recall this moment because it was one of the happier memories from that point in our lives. /emoticons/smile.png\" alt=\":)\" title=\":) date=1442998149]

Thanks for the comments and feedback everyone.

I\'m pleased to see you drawing again, for me this is something you should always try to find time for and I can\'t encourage you enough.

When I came off one of our sites pages, I noticed this on your timeline and I am not surprised to see your choice of subject. I\'ve felt Vanellope Von Schweetz is a little overdue angel!

I love your drawings, which are well drawn and spot on to the character you choose.

Well Done and keep \'em coming!

I\'m starting to feel a little bit better.

Later on, I will be recording a PONcast which I am looking forward to doing. It will be nice to catch up with Joe Jones, as I haven\'t really seen him that much returning off the holiday and the last time he came over - we discussed how to go about re-launching this site, among other things.

Apart from that, I need to try and get the social media spot on today.

I might also find time to try and write a poem.

[quote author=HomesickAlienPoet date=1442977414\">I have spent the day working on papers and studying.  This is my last semester before graduation and its pretty hectic.  In the next two weeks I have four papers, plus a 15 page case study and a fifteen minute class presentation due, two final exams, and the four-hour exit exam that  I have to pass to graduate is also looming on the horizon.  I\'m not too stressed about the exit exam since I have maintained all A\'s while in the program, but it is a pretty big deal regardless.  So my posts in the next few weeks will be a bit scarce.  I will still probably find the time to post a poem here and there but I don\'t have a lot of time to post in-depth feedback, so if you haven\'t recieved any comments from me on your work, that\'s why.  I will try to play catch up and provide more feedback when I have the time.
Don\'t worry about posting, we\'ll see you when we see you. Go ace your grades and pass! You have a masters waiting for you! /emoticons/wink.png\" alt=\";)]

Photography / Simple Photography
September 23, 2015, 12:48:16 AM
I find the simple photography to be more powerful than some would consider, in the age of digital revolution and art becoming very complicated - I personally find you cannot beat a bit of natural nature.Anyway, the other week I was at Ikea Nottingham and suddenly, just as if a UFO had flown over my head.I noticed this and quickly snapped it with my mobile phone.http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/09/22/5dd9127f25c3c71c5d543392edf7ac1d.jpg\" alt=\"5dd9127f25c3c71c5d543392edf7ac1d.jpg\">Thoughts?

[quote author=FrostyKitten\" data-ipsquote-contenttype=\"forums\" data-ipsquote-contentclass=\"forums_Topic\" data-ipsquote-contentid=\"68\" data-ipsquote-contentcommentid=\"380\">I think the great thing about Banksy, whether you see it as vandalism or not, is that because of the trouble his art is causing, it\'s also bringing a lot of attention to the subject matter he depicts. It\'s hard to ignore an issue when it\'s kicking you in the face, or, in this case, dirtying your walls heheI\'d rather have Banksy \"vandalizing\" the cities than random kids spray painting random... ehm... you know what everywhere... \"xD\"/emoticons/laugh.png date=1442932264]
I feel the same way, yet sadly Banksy encourages this side of things because these kids see him as inspiration and not everyone can be that talented.

Challenges & Artistic Exercises / 5 Random Words Challenge
September 22, 2015, 03:43:06 PM
If I\'m going to suck at forcing myself to write, I might aswell have fun!

I rolled a 1, so - Group A:1. establishment 2. pig-sticker 3. eagle 4.changes 5.suckle 6.nectar

\"The Weird-Establishment\"

I sought out changes,
To refresh my mind,
And to find a place to eat,
So the past was left behind,

I found a new location,
And all seemed great,
Then I noticed nectar on the menu,
Which sealed all but my fate,

The Establishment at glance,
Had a good appearance,
Everything looked clean and new,
Yet something crushed my perseverance,

In the window there was a pig-sticker,
With David's dear best friend,
Appearing in writing by its side,
A weird style of trend,

On one wall,
I could see an eagle,
It's claws sharp like daggers,
And in one corner a stuffed beagle!

Feeling taken back,
I went to leave,
And just as I did,
In entered 'Steve',

Declaring his passion for suckle,
He boasted with glee,
And that was the point,
I decided to flee!

I\'m supposed to be going to watch my football team player later on, yet I don\'t feel 100% or even up to it. I love it when people tell me what I have wrong with me, like taking advice from people who do that - is any better than self diagnosing myself on the internet?

Anyway, I have a lot to focus on before the rage fury of hellfire decides to have another pop at me.

Today for me is all about trying to feel better, making sure I move forward with my concerns of the sites and promoting the good that we are doing. Really need to start encouraging folks to mingle around a little, P&A! Online\'s started off well but its something we need to maintain in order to attract new members.

Street art is vandalism when it\'s done to walls of shops, houses and businesses.

I only ever agree with it when it\'s done to abandoned buildings as a way to add appeal to the rundown state, or perhaps within areas whereby it\'s agreed it can be done. I think those who go around spraying bridges, parks and especially where children play really need to find suitable locations. I\'m not against graffiti artists at all, I just don\'t see the point in \'tagging\' places for the sake of it.

There\'s a corner shop on Alfreton Road, that I see on the way into the city centre. It\'s got a pigeon sprayed on of the store, it\'s always something I tend to look at.

Anyway, I like what Banksy does - especially the fact that he uses his art for good.

Poetry / The Butterfly
September 22, 2015, 03:24:15 AM
This poem was written back in 2005, at the time I was eighteen. Inspired by real life, love and passion that /profile/2-cheeky~k8/\" data-ipshover=\"\" data-ipshover-target=\"http://poetryartonline.com/profile/2-cheeky~k8/?do=hovercard\" data-mentionid=\"2\">@cheeky~k8 has for butterflies.

Surrounded by trees,
Water and her.
I see a deeper paradise,
That only the butterfly can.

Freedom in movement,
She follows you around.
It\'s amazing to see,
How you stop,
When she holds out her hand.

Softly, you settle down,
Fluttering your shiny,
Blue wings.
I picture this moment,
Hoping I\'ll recall it forever.
She looked so happy,
So peaceful.

Then it ended,
So quick.
The butterfly flew,
As she looked on.

It felt like time had stopped,
When she set out.
To chase the,
Blue butterfly.

/profile/34-wwrites/\" data-ipshover=\"\" data-ipshover-target=\"http://poetryartonline.com/profile/34-wwrites/?do=hovercard\" data-mentionid=\"34\">@Wwrites - That would be perfect if you can help.

I have added you to the list of contributors, if you would be able to do the layout/design that would be very helpful. This project will be good fun, I really can\'t wait to see what everyone contributes and then to finally see the completed project.

Cheers!
