Introductions / My Intro

It seems quite a few of the \'old gang\' have been busy with themselves during the between years of the site sadly closing and towards the new phoenix rising. I don\'t want to get sentiment twice, yet \"SpaceMonkey\" is a massive coup for the site and was a major part of the old one. I\'m pleased to be welcoming you

Introductions / Introducing...
September 18, 2015, 11:20:37 AM
It\'s good to have you back HAP, when I started to push the idea of running this site again - I really wanted to try my best at reconnecting with the \'old gang\' because I really couldn\'t imagine any type of success here without the help of people who had made P&A! Online what it was last time. I\'m really proud of the community we had (now have) and I made several friends from it, who I did miss.

Anywho without going all sentimental...

It\'s really good to have you back here, plus being in contact again. Goodluck with enrolling into your masters course, do keep us updated with how this goes.

I don\'t know much about his art, if it wasn\'t for China I doubt many would but I find the whole restricting him to travel pathetic.

Sorry, I can\'t add more.

There seems a bug with this version, as the video should embed. Mmmmm...

[quote author=GoddessGlamourPuss\" data-ipsquote-contenttype=\"forums\" data-ipsquote-contentclass=\"forums_Topic\" data-ipsquote-contentid=\"5\" data-ipsquote-contentcommentid=\"125\">Well to be the revised version looks like a postcard. Maybe it\'s the caption though. I find the lighter effects give it a warmer feel and makes me think it would be a familiar scene to anyone glancing out the window of the drive home after a fun filled family day out[/quote]Twas the aim my dear lady, I designed it as a postcard and shared it via my social accounts.

I didn\'t used to like this, literally one year on holiday - It was always being played and I came back home really hating it. However, over a period I found myself picking up the lyrics and then I started watching the video.

It actually reminds me of my childhood, a lot of the toys I have owned (including the large robot).

Just copy the video link or YouTube share link straight into the box, the site will do the rest.

Fiction / Lovers on the Bridge
September 17, 2015, 05:20:05 PM
This reminds me of a story that was portrayed as a side story to a movie, basically borderline obsessive admirer, who didn\'t really know what \'love\' was. Interesting piece of fiction, certainly I want to label this \'Fifty Shades of Joe Jones\' and post it on PON but I won\'t. I wonder if we\'ll get any other writers emerge anytime soon also.

Keep \'em coming! There may be hope yet!

Pretty weird, though different in a unique way.

I bet /profile/4-joe-jones/\" data-ipshover=\"\" data-ipshover-target=\"http://poetryartonline.com/profile/4-joe-jones/?do=hovercard\" data-mentionid=\"4\">@Joe Jones wishes it could be him swimming with dolphins, I don\'t think we\'ll get him back if he was mind. Very hypnotic video, slightly annoying sound.

Interesting replies folks, it\'s good to see how differently our minds see things.

Here\'s the same picture with a few effects applied, plus some other little bits of mobile wizardry.

Great job here @stewart alexander !

You're almost as creative with the titles than you are with your art itself; it must be interesting watching the process. Have you ever considered recording it? I think it would be interesting, especially in a time-lapse situation. I'm a big fan of your workmate, really love seeing what you come up with.

My favourite is the second one; the colours work nice but both look great!

Keep 'em coming!!

Poetry / Let Boulders be Bygones

There\'s a nice blend with your chosen words here, which certainly makes it stand out.

The story within this piece develops nicely, it\'s almost woven as you read it and the final part is really a joy to read. \"Save me sisyphus, from monotonous, endeavor\". Exactly what I am referring too.

Great stuff, keep \'em coming!

General Discussion / Daily Talk; Thursday 17th September
September 17, 2015, 11:16:06 AM
I\'ve just gotten back from a driving lesson, it went really well. Very smooth but it wasn\'t without my typical loss of concentration but to be fair, it happened once and within a difficult area for a newbie learning to drive. There are experienced people driving far worse, so that\'s what I tell myself.

Today is the first time P&A! Online is going social, I am trying to do a good job there, all whilst managing the other sites.

I know I\'ve said this previously and a lot, though I\'m really enjoying it.

Looking forward to see others responses to this, it would be nice to see a few more get involved in these daily topics because it promotes the community and can stem some good conversations given the chance.

We have a good one in JJ, he will do his utmost to ensure we are producing quality articles and his help is very important. I know he\'s a little nervous about being an admin here, though he seems to have settled in well.

Keep showing off your talent mate!

I was actually surprised you drawn this TBH, you should re-take up doodling.

The drawing is well shaded, the technique used is good and although yeah, it's 'basic' - that is exactly what makes this good. It stands out for all the right reasons; I would really like to see more.

People forget that DH Lawrence is from Nottingham, let alone from Eastwood.

I do believe that it needs saving, surely they could turn it into a place where schools all across the country could travel and learn about him? I don\'t know, it made me angry to think that it seems nothing is being done. I mean I heard they aim to erect a statue locally, which in turn made me think it could be better spent saving the heritage centre.
