A colleague of mine has been having her classes do pantoums for years. I like this one immensely! The only distracting wording were \"a weeping whispers cello glide\" and \"a weeping whispers mellow guide.\" I thought perhaps it should just be \"whisper?\"

When I was housesitting, I\'d stand on the porch and watch the sunset. Each evening, the colors were different. This night, a whole bunch of birds were very restless and one flew very close to me as I was taking pictures.

I feel like I could reach out and touch the animals. Love the 2 monkeys (especially that one looks like a grouchy old cowboy lol). 

This is lovely. I like black and white because it helps me imagine the vividness of what the colors could be.

I love it when you rhyme  2nd and 3rd stanzas are my favorites.

I did not intend it to be creepy. As I was driving away from the Farmer's Market, I was struck by the simplicity of the scene and felt a rush of dejavu (if you will) as if I was able to glimpse into a different time and place. The colors are thanks to a nasty storm that was coming in.

I took this one in July; behind where I am standing for the picture, there is a farm and market run by children, teens, and adults with developmental disabilities. The barn is not as isolated as the picture would make you feel...

At first glance, this is very good. A powerful glimpse inside a conflicted soul. There are some minor things that are distracting and I will come back to this in a bit... every time I read this (any poem, really) I get something a little different out of it

Today is less fun and more necessary. I feel like I went to every store in town but came home mostly empty handed, but still having spent a ton...

This has not been the case for awhile, but I recently found this poem/collage and was bombarded all over again.

Dreams of a White Dragon is my all-time favorite of yours and probably one of my favorite art pieces ever. I showed it to my class while we were talking about Vikings (as it ties into Beowulf nicely) and they loved it, too.
