Photography / Bird at Sunset
October 10, 2015, 07:50:38 PM
Oh wow, this looks very natural to me.

I am sucker for red skies, morning or night - they always have the power to make me stir at them for hours. Ask /profile/2-cheeky~k8/\" data-ipshover=\"\" data-ipshover-target=\"http://poetryartonline.com/profile/2-cheeky~k8/?do=hovercard\" data-mentionid=\"2\">@cheeky~k8 - There are times when we are out, when I just stand admiring the sky line and sometimes the sky doesn\'t even have to have any form of red within it. lol

The bird caught in flight is excellently timed, as is the starting of the bursting sunlight.

Which then draws me into the clouds. I really, really like this Sarah!

Thanks for sharing! Keep \'em coming!!

General Art / Homemade Dough Models
October 09, 2015, 08:33:43 PM
There was a period whereby I frequently created things out of dough, it\'s actually a fun process - Not just making the dough itself but designing, moulding and painting them.

I tend to coat them twice, once before painting and again after.

Anywho, here is some I made awhile back.

/profile/9-spacemonkey/\" data-ipshover=\"\" data-ipshover-target=\"http://poetryartonline.com/profile/9-spacemonkey/?do=hovercard\" data-mentionid=\"9\">@SpaceMonkey - Ouch, that does sound painful. Hopefully the medication helps, I know with my knees (I suffer from dislocations) - It\'s sometimes a case of grin and bare it. I have Voltarol gel which is a godsend, yet you have to choose when to take it because the benefits quickly run out if you use it frequently.

Anyway, I hope you can get somewhere with the specialist. Perhaps they will push for an xray?

It\'s quite common over that it takes a lot for matters to be investigated. Good luck buddy!

[quote author=stewart alexander\" data-ipsquote-contenttype=\"forums\" data-ipsquote-contentclass=\"forums_Topic\" data-ipsquote-contentid=\"128\" data-ipsquote-contentcommentid=\"877\">hows everybodies friday going so far?[/quote]Rough mate, I\'ve had another off day and spent the most of the day sleeping (not by choice).

I actually hate feeling that bad that I can\'t operate like I would normally, though I am up now and feeling better. Can\'t say I have done much though.

Anyone else been up to much?

Today, I feel quite okay - I\'m hoping it\'s not just a good day because it\'s nice to feel normal.

I am hoping to return to the social pages, promoting activity and trying to do some of the work required to bring in new members. Yet, we are growing very nicely and I have made up images to go with the majority of poetry - pictures are done to share. I really like this side of the site, watching our work gain appreciation etc.

Showcasing the talent of our community is only half the picture.

A little later I am going to try and adventure out, we need to buy a birthday present but that means it\'s a good time to look into what the children want for Xmas (as we like to start early).

What is everyone else up to?

I thought you had drawn Del\'s old banger when I saw the \'banana car\' haha!

Great to see the additional images.

Poetry / FROM A REFLECTION
October 08, 2015, 12:07:54 AM
It\'s interesting to read something which doesn\'t follow your usual format (which I really admire). I was speaking to /profile/9-spacemonkey/\" data-ipshover=\"\" data-ipshover-target=\"http://poetryartonline.com/profile/9-spacemonkey/?do=hovercard\" data-mentionid=\"9\">@SpaceMonkey about this, since I don\'t really adventure much myself into other formats and styles - I find the way you write to be fascinating. It\'s something I haven\'t come across before, which makes your writing stand out.

This piece does have your mark stamped on it and I really enjoy reading your work.

Thank you for sharing it! Keep \'em coming!!

Poetry / Marbled Courts
October 07, 2015, 04:54:48 PM
I read this yesterday, yet it seems with being unwell I forgot to comment (so I apologise about that).

I would echo and concur with /profile/30-mperry/\" data-ipshover=\"\" data-ipshover-target=\"http://poetryartonline.com/profile/30-mperry/?do=hovercard\" data-mentionid=\"30\">@mperry, you have a way with words and it\'s something I genuinely admire. Despite reading it just now, I cannot highlight a favourite part because of the fantastic imagery and artistic views from within - likewise I find the poem very captivating. I must highlight that I love the ending, the cavaliers line is just brilliance.

Thanks /profile/11-stewart-alexander/\" data-ipshover=\"\" data-ipshover-target=\"http://poetryartonline.com/profile/11-stewart-alexander/?do=hovercard\" data-mentionid=\"11\">@stewart I very much appreciate your contributions.

Keep \'em coming.

Photography / Roath Park Lake - Cardiff
October 06, 2015, 04:18:59 PM
I didn\'t know you was into photography mate, yet seeing this I hope to see more.

The composition is really good, there\'s a lot of \'draw\' to this picture and none of which is distracting. I love how the railings draws you in, the detail making me follow it towards the house and then bam, I am dead centre. It looks a beautiful place to go and relax, do you find yourself writing whilst there?

Great job! Keep \'em coming!!

Music Production / The Truth Shall Set You Free

You do sound much sharper/used to singing here, almost like you have your groove and established your place. That said, I don't think anyone should ignore your vocals here.

I like the strumming/guitar work and lyrics.

Great job mate.

General Art / The Monk On The Hill
October 06, 2015, 04:09:29 PM
Oh wow, this is brilliant.

Very dramatic, in the sense it looks like a fights going on with the sea. The crashing of the waves looks impressive, the rock emerging out of it reminds me of an hand coming outwards to grab the monk.

Thoughtful piece and if I used one word to sum it up, 'Epic'.

Thanks for sharing mate, keep 'em coming.
