Hey guys and gals... Here\'s a painting I did in Photoshop with my Wacom Intuous 3 tablet quite a few years back. I would like to revisit this image and improve it, but sadly my Wacom is still in Canada while I\'m in the States. I was contemplating just buying a new one. This was one of my first major digital paintings. It ain\'t perfect, but I love it
The detailing on it is great. When i scrolled down, i wasn\'t expecting stitching over the girls mouth.. It does portray sadness very well along with the sad eyes and tears.
It sort of looks like you? Self inspired?
It\'s good, which I see nothing wrong with it. It must have taken hours to perfect the detail - I think this is absolutely brilliant. I really hope to see more in the future.
PS.. The butterflies feel like magic, the glowing effect really adds to the artwork.
Detail is always harder to do on a computer compared to on paper, it is very well done in your picture. @FrostyKitten
This is really very touching. It reminds me about a lot of different things. I have no idea how to create visual arts, I can\'t comment on the technique, but to me this is very beautiful. I have always been drawn to tragic things.
I found this very sad, one of the butterflies seems to be feeding off the girls tears. I like how the hair and girl looks to be very realistic. The detail is really good.
Well done

That wasn\'t my intention for the butterfly, but I can definitely see why you thought that! I love when artwork changes with every viewer -- it\'s what makes art awesome Thanks for stopping by!
Very impressive. Ive tried a few digital paintings but only realy know basics on photoshop...i use it for bold graphic design stuff but have to resort to old school methods for the detail stuff. Keep it up you have a tallent.
