Two photos I took while I was in Berlin with my now-ex girlfriend, which I then touched up on Photoshop. The first one is this, inspired from the girl with the red coat in Schindler\'s list... we were walking through the Holocaust Memorial and my ex just so happened to be wearing a red coat, so I had to get a photo.

And this is the second, taken while walking through a Berlin park not far from Brandenburg Gate. The things that came to mind with this setting were the Brothers Grimm and Little Red Riding Hood.

I find the first picture pretty creepy, even before you told me the story and of course I know where it was taken (even before you had mentioned that also).
In the first picture, it\'s well timed and I think the lack of lightening (direct sunlight) helped the creepy look.
The second reminds me of little red riding hood, though not so little. LOL
Both are interesting pictures, thanks for sharing! Keep \'em coming!
I really like the 1st pic. The red coat really adds a striking contrast to the scene and adds a powerfull sense of perspective. The walls feel like they should come crashing down yet at the same time seem to be standing tall. All in all a beautiful representation of a sombre and emotive subject. The 2nd one looks quite peaceful to me. Personally I find the woodland a little spacious to be creepy enough for Red Riding Hood but that\'s my perspective. Both are great pics :-)
Thanks all!
The first one makes me feel claustrophobic but the walls bring a big impact to the picture. The second one looks very good and the surrounding areas make the picture look creepy in a way, but also reminds me of walking through somewhere like wollaton park on a cloudy autumn day.
For some reason these photos make me think of Silent Hill... and that creeps me out! I do like the composition in them and the b/w with the touch of red. Little Red Riding Hood anyone? heheThanks for sharing
I dont want to see an ass JJ but the quality of the first picture lets it down for me, it looks distorted and blurry.
The second one is good tho.
These are both very stunning, the more so because of the red coat-holocaust memorial backstory. I wasn\'t bothered by the quality of the first photo as I thought it lent more mystery and ominousness.
the second one looks spooky .. kinda .. good shots!
