Title: epiphany
Post by: Call me Cordelia on
I wrote this ten years ago when I visiting my parents on their farm (where we lived when I was in high school). The photo was taken a few months ago when I was housesitting out in the country. So peaceful, so lovely.

I really felt like I was within a field myself, as you painted the imagery nicely with the words. Just to be a fraction picky, I love the image but strongly dislike the font that spells \'epiphany\'.

Thanks for sharing Sarah!

I seem to recall it, perhaps you submitted it to MM or the old site?

Words on the right side of the margin......brilliant!!!  I was going to ask is this based on an actual ephiphany that you had or you just wrote this with the subject in mind?  Either way, it\'s great.  I hope this is but a taste of things to come from you     I look forward to seeing what your writing looks like now, ten years later.  Thanks for sharing this with us.

Yes, I had a different image with it before and the design was very dull. I like this version much better. I love the font for the title; it\'s an old script that alludes to history, specifically the enlightenment where poets like Thoreau and Whitman wrote pages and pages about the joys of nature...
