Mike, I was mainly curious as to the reasons behind the dashes. I enjoyed the piece quite a bit. The dashes distracted me, but now that I know their purpose they are less so.

You have to use your imagination a little because the photo does NOT do the vista justice... when I went for a walk this morning, the clouds looked like mountains to me. Since I live in one of the flattest states, it\'s the best I can do!

I titled the photo \"When clouds are mountains\" and then a poem hit me.

I used PicMonkey to manipulate the image a little and to add text.

This is fantastic! I agree with Kate, it is different from your earlier work. Plus, I love the vocabulary throughout. Very deep and philosophical. Kudos for using equanimity, especially!!

Thanks, all.  Juanito has steadily improved since shortly after we visited him. He\'s now in a rehabilitation center and is starting to be able to move and talk (a little).

Right after Thanksgiving, we visited Union Station in downtown KC. I\'m not much for Christmas before Dec 24/25, but this was lovely!!
