Thanks Chris and Jerry. As I was reading it before posting, I was also struck by the \"walking dead\" line. I wrote this long before the TV show, funnily.

Specs of water and blue, though the background is quite haunting!
It was not raining; it was, however, very chilly and extremely cloudy/overcast that day.

I\'ve never been much of a fan of Picasso. But after a quick review of some of his work, I have to say I like his earlier works (right at and right after the turn of the century). They are the more realistic, life-like works of art and I relate to them more... which is weird since I tend to be more of an abstract artist when I paint and draw.As far as International Art day, I\'m afraid the closest I\'m coming to celebrating is by watching The Great British Baking Show. Seriously, what they create are works of art!

I recently came across https://amandeepmittal.wordpress.com/2015/10/25/five-david-foster-wallace-essays-you-should-read/\" rel=\"external nofollow\">a blog post about David Foster Wallace\'s essays. Having only barely heard of the man (and the controversy of having Jason Segel play him in a biopic), I was intrigued and spent the morning reading the five essays.I enjoyed all but one of the essays (I\'m really not that into tennis). But one stood out, high above the others.http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/books/9715551/What-words-really-mean-David-Foster-Wallaces-dictionary.html\" class=\"ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image\" rel=\"external nofollow\">What words really mean: David Foster Wallace\'s dictionary is FABULOUS. I love words, but I am no aficionado, as clearly DFW is.In addition to learning a few new words (pulchritude, noma, and a plethora of adjectives for \'hairy\'), I\'m also developing a derision for puffed up words, like \'utilize\' (a totally superfluous word completely overused in education).I\'m sure I\'m the only one who has not read anything by David Foster Wallace just as I\'m sure I\'m not the only one feeling quite energized and inspired after reading this article/essay.Thoughts?

I like both, but the second one is clearer... and your handsome face is more visible. Love that you are not centered in the photo and the light in the top left is so bright!

I like the shape of this poem. I enjoyed the words, but my personal preference is not to capitalize the first word of each line. What changing about (in the 2nd stanza) \"That crashes with a shivering grasp\" to \"That crashes from a shivering grasp\" ?What do you mean by Pt 2? Is there a second half or does this just mean there will be a draft 2?

Love both versions of this pic. I adore sunsets and that skyline is amazing

These are both very stunning, the more so because of the red coat-holocaust memorial backstory. I wasn\'t bothered by the quality of the first photo as I thought it lent more mystery and ominousness.

I don\'t do a lot with black and white; I\'ve been meaning to give it a try. I especially liked 7th and 8th photo.

I like them all, but the last one I am most drawn to. Has a dark Miss Havisham feel to it lol.

I like this, the imagery is tangible. What about getting rid of the \"and\" at the beginning of 6th line?
