I was actually surprised you drawn this TBH, you should re-take up doodling.
The drawing is well shaded, the technique used is good and although yeah, it's 'basic' - that is exactly what makes this good. It stands out for all the right reasons; I would really like to see more.

lol not what i was expecting, but bloody brilliant I felt that way too, but just about pencils, I despise them. I am Pen4life. So this picture had kind of a double meaning thing going on for me.

Love it! Due to be restricted to a smartphone I just saw the pencil so was 'okay....' scrolled down was then totally stunned! For me that added an extra element and literally packed a punch lol.I especially like the passive/aggressive theme "the pen(cil) is mightier than the sword" and a definite tribute not only to Charlie Hebdo but to all who dare to speak up and challenge

I think a lot of people felt the exact way, this is a nice tribute and it is well drawn.
